Kurgan: a verdict was passed in the case under Art. 282 and art. 280

In July 2017, it became known that in Kurgan, the court sentenced conscript S. Filippov, who was found guilty of publishing xenophobic materials on a social network.

In July 2017, it became known that The Kurgan city court delivered a verdict in the case of initiating a national hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code) and public calls for extremism (part 2 of article 280 UK).

On the dock was local resident S. Filippov, who, according to law enforcement agencies published on the social network VKontakte some xenophobic videos and photographs.

It is reported that the young man was a conscript and clearly demonstrated his nationalist views.

The court found S. Filippov guilty and sentenced him to 2.5 years in prison on probation.
