On March 26, Maltsev's supporter Alexei Politikov was detained on suspicion of using violence against a government official in Moscow at an anti-corruption rally. Maltsev was detained on June 12 in Moscow and sent under arrest for 10 days for disobedience to a police officer. He was released on June 22, and left the country on June 29.
