Moscow: far-right activists suspected of arms trafficking arrested

In July 2017, in Moscow, six young people were detained and arrested by the court, who, according to the investigation, created an ultra-right group and were engaged in the manufacture and sale of weapons.
July 27, 2017 Lefortovsky the district court of Moscow granted the petition for the arrest until September 24 of six ultra-right activists: Roman Shatunov, Nikolai Gorbunov, Dmitry Ushakov, Denis Gribailo, Boris Gom and Dmitry Kraev.

According to law enforcement agencies, young people created a neo-Nazi group, created illegal workshops for the manufacture and modernization of weapons, and sold them.

During the special operation, the security forces seized machine gun "Degtyarev", seven submachine guns "Kedr", two machine guns Kalashnikov, 37 pistols and revolvers (Makarov pistol, "Nagant" and "TT"), hand fragmentation grenades ("F-1", "RGD-5"), three kilograms of TNT. withdrawn parts and components of firearms, more than 1.5 thousand cartridges, including including those for refurbishment.

According to investigators, the leader of the group is Dmitry Ushakov. He insists that his firm sells weapon models. During the court session, he stated: “I don’t know who buys them, and to whom they sold and why. In our country it is not forbidden to sell models of weapons, but if someone then makes weapons out of my layouts, it’s not my fault.”

In the house of another person involved in the case - R. Shatunova - law enforcement agencies found a TNT bomb and grenades. The young man admitted his guilt and declared remorse.
