In early June, mass searches and detentions of Muslims suspected of collaborating with Hizb ut-Tahrir were carried out in Tatarstan and Bashkiria. Criminal cases have been initiated.
At the beginning of August 2017, it became known that on June 6 and 7, 2017 in Tatarstan and Bashkiria carried out mass searches and detentions of Muslims suspected of cooperation with Hizb ut-Tahrir.
In particular, according to the accusation in ch. 1. Art. 205.5 UK (organization Ilnar Zinnatov was arrested in Kazan (b. 1984) and Marat Tulyakov (b. 1979), in Baymake (Bashkortostan) - Ainur Sagadeev, Shavkat Alsynbaev and Ainaz Yanishev.
The Bashkir Muslims Artem Akhmedzhanov, Nail Valishin and Rustam Karazbaev were also searched, but they were not arrested. Ruslan Ilyasov was detained in Kazan, but later released.
Recall that we consider it unlawful to accuse the followers of Hizb ut-Tahrir of terrorism only on the basis of party activities (holding meetings, reading literature, etc.).
