A group of teenagers was discovered in St. Petersburg, robbing and beating migrants and attacking an anti-fascist.
In August 2017, members of the national militia of the MOP "Patriot" reported that in St. Petersburg, the police, the prosecutor's office and the administration of the Kolpinsky district discovered a group of teenagers who committed several attacks.
The size of the group, consisting of teenagers aged 14 to 24 years, was about 30 people. In the village of Telman, teenagers robbed the Pyaterochka store and sprayed pepper spray in the face of a bakery salesperson. The teenagers also attacked a minor anti-fascist. The victim was severely beaten, the anti-fascist was hospitalized. The group is also responsible for several thefts, fights with store security guards, attacks on migrants, taxi drivers and passers-by, and cases of vandalism. “They told their victims that they were under 18 years old, so if they resisted, the victims would face prison,” the media reported.
The group members filmed their actions. “On the recordings and in correspondence, teenagers boast of firearms, bladed weapons and blunt weapons.”
The identities of the attackers have been established. According to preliminary data, the teenagers were led by a young man of 24 years old. In particular, he suggested breaking into apartments in the village of Popovka with bats.
There is no information about criminal cases being opened yet.
