The court refused Oleg Navalny to mitigate the punishment

The Oryol Regional Court refused the brother of the opposition Alexei Navalny to Oleg, convicted of the IV-Roshe case, in the replacement of the unsuitable part of the deadline with a milder type of punishment. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the court.

The court upheld the decision previously made by the Uritsky district court of the Oryol region.

The court was guided by the fact that Navalny "is characterized by a malicious violator of order in the colony." He has 13 current penalties imposed for storage of prohibited items, refusal to work, disobedience to representatives of the administration of a correctional institution.

The Uritsky District Court twice refused Navalny in parole. The first time in June 2016, the second - in February 2017. Both times, the reason was the outstanding penalties for violations of the regime.

Alexey and Oleg Navalny were accused of fraud on an especially large scale and legalization of funds. The investigation claimed that they stole the funds of Yves Roche Vostok LLC in the amount of over 26.7 million rubles, as well as LLC A multidisciplinary processing company in the amount of more than 4.4 million rubles.

On December 30, 2014, the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow found the brothers guilty and sentenced Alexei Navalny to 3.5 years old, Oleg Navalny - to 3.5 years in prison in a general regime colony.
