The improvement of Moscow streets will not interfere with the World Cup in 2018. According to RIA Novosti, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
“All the main construction sites regarding the road network in the city center or related to the routes of the championship participants will be completed in the coming weeks, and not to the championship,” he emphasized.
According to Sobyanin, the improvement of Moscow streets will continue next year, but it will be local in nature and mainly on the periphery.
The world football world in Russia should be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018. The matches will be played in Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg.
