
Police detained the administrator of the Death Group, suspected of attempting to bring to the suicide of a 21-year-old resident of the Moscow region. This was reported to Interfax by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
According to her, the detainee was the administrator of the group created in January 2017, which persuaded adolescents to commit suicide, and came up with a group of tasks for several dozen subscribers of the “in order to exert a certain psychological impact on them”.
The police seized a computer, mobile phones, and SIM cards from the suspect’s house. According to law enforcement officers, he used to communicate with his subscribers.
The criminal case was instituted under Article 110.1 (declension to commit suicide) and article 110.2 (organization of activities aimed at prompt to commit suicide) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspect is detained.
On the same day, a girl - an administrator of a similar “death group” was detained in the Khabarovsk Territory.
“Unlike other similar groups, in this community for failure to fulfill tasks, adolescents received threats about the reprisal and the possible murder of their relatives,” the wolf said.
