Moscow: businessman arrested on suspicion of public calls for extremism

On September 1, 2017, a court in Moscow arrested N. Zubkov, an entrepreneur and author of a book about Vladimir Putin and the "global Masonic conspiracy", who is suspected of publicly calling for extremism.

September 1, 2017 to the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow authorized the arrest until September 30 of businessman Nikolai Zubkov.

It is reported that N. Zubkov is suspected of public appeals to extremism (part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code). It appears to be a publication in some articles on the Internet, but which ones are not reported.

Previously suspected was under house arrest, but, according to law enforcement agencies, I planned to break it and go to the USA. During the search in his apartment were not neither internal nor foreign passports were found, but his mobile phone N. Zubkov broke during his detention.

In 2008 and 2012, N. Zubkov went to presidential elections as a self-nominated candidate, but his candidacy was withdrawn decision of the Central Election Commission. Previously, he held a position in the FSB Assistance Fund and Ministry of Internal Affairs "Alpha", was the head of the "United Industrial Company Zubkov" and is the author of the book "Putin on the World Stage", which tells, among other things, about the "world Masonic conspiracy".
