UN Councils adopted a resolution on new sanctions against North Korea

The UN Security Council unanimously approved the introduction of new sanctions against North Korea, reports AP.

The document provides for a restriction on the purchase of Pyongyan oil products: not more than 2 million barrels per year. The adopted resolution also limits the import of raw oil at the level of the last 12 months and introduces a ban on the supply of liquefied natural gas and gas condensate to the DPRK.

In addition, the document provides for a complete ban on export from North Korea of ​​textile products.

Also, countries are prohibited from issuing new work permits for workers from North Korea.
