In Gorokhovets and Kovrov, Internet users were fined for publishing prohibited materials

In September 2017, the prosecutor's office of the Vladimir region in in the cities of Gorokhovets and Kovrov, the courts fined three local residents, publishing prohibited materials on the Internet.

In September 2017, the prosecutor's office of the Vladimir region reported that that in the cities of Gorokhovets and Kovrov administrative cases were initiated under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials).

The first case was initiated against a 21-year-old resident of Gorokhovets, who, as reported, published on the social network "VKontakte" a certain prohibited audio recording.

Two more cases were initiated against residents of Kovrov: 19-year-old a young man and a 31-year-old girl who published some banned songs and videos.

Details of none of the cases were released.

The court found all three guilty and fined each. All prohibited information has been removed.
