Yarosh's bodyguard was arrested for participation in the Right Sector

Alexander Shumkov, a 28-year-old Ukrainian nationalist from Kherson, was arrested in the Bryansk region for his participation in the Right Sector.

On September 26, 2017, it became known that Alexander Shumkov, a 28-year-old Ukrainian nationalist from Kherson, was arrested in the Bryansk region. He is accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organization.

According to social networks, he disappeared a month ago "just did not come home from work. home." Some time later former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksiy Zhuravko said that he received from Ukraine message that Shumkov was detained while crossing the border with Russia FSB, but then released. A representative of the Self-Defence movement from Kherson believes that Shumkov "could not voluntarily cross the border, and there are people involved in his abduction."

In 2014-2015, Shumkov was one of the leader's bodyguards. "Right Sector" Dmitry Yarosh. Then he served in a military unit in the village Chernobaevka Belozersky district of Kherson region. From the autumn was supposed to pass professional development for further career advancement.

Since March 2017, Denis Bakholdin has also been in SIZO-1 in Bryansk, who at the end of 2014 emigrated to Ukraine. Bakholdin was detained when he entered Russia to visit parents. He is charged with participation in the "Right Sector". Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code (participation in an extremist community) was applied to him. He does not admit guilt and from giving refuses to testify.
