Suspected of participating in an extremist community arrested in Kaliningrad

Nikolai Sentsov, suspected of participating in an extremist community, was arrested in Kaliningrad.

On September 29, 2017, the Central Court of the city of Kaliningrad arrested Nikolai Sentsov for two months, who was detained on suspicion of participating in an extremist community (part 2 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code).

During the search, an F1 combat grenade from the times of the war, a grenade launcher, cartridges, as well as a mass of blanked weapons were confiscated from the detainee.

According to some reports, Sentsov is associated with the previously detained Alexander Orshulevich from the Baltic Vanguard of Russian Resistance organization, against whom a criminal case has been initiated under Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization of an extremist community).

Kaliningrad media reported that Sentsov posted on his page a poster in English about the "freedom and independence" of the westernmost region of Russia with the slogans "There will soon be a revolution in Russia" and "We hope that East Prussia and Koenigsberg will become independent."
