At the rally of Navalny in Nizhny Novgorod, detentions were held

The police began to detain participants in a rally organized by politician Alexei Navalny in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the portal NN.RU.

“As soon as in the crowd they begin to chant any slogans, the police detain activists and escorts to a car gut. One bus with gratings on the windows has already left. In line - two more, ”the correspondent reports.

Among the detainees are the activists of Stas Dmitrievsky and Mikhail Ioilievich. A few minutes before that, Ioilievich told the publication that Navalny’s supporters were about to walk on a walk along Rozhdestvenskaya Street.

According to Nn.ru, from 500 to 700 people came to the rally, but some of them came to the festival of culture, sports and tourism “Positive Nizhny”, passing on the same area of ​​Markin.

Before the start of the action, the police detained the coordinator of the headquarters of the politician Alexei Navalny Anna and another employee.

Earlier on September 29, the head of the Federal Staff of Navalny Leonid Volkov was also detained in Nizhny Novgorod. He is suspected of repeated violation of the order of the mass event (part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

On the same day in Moscow, they detained Navalny himself. The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that he was detained for calls to participate in unauthorized shares. Navalny was taken to the police department for the trial.

Navalny and Volkov are facing fines from 150 to 300 thousand rubles or administrative arrest for up to 30 days.

On September 26, Volkov wrote that the administration of Nizhny Novgorod first agreed on the rally, and then canceled its decision.
