Kostroma: two administrative fines for publishing a banned song on a social network

In September 2017, in Kostroma, the courts fined two local residents who published the banned song “Smoke” on the Internet far-right group "GROT". In September 2017, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kostroma Region reported that two administrative cases were initiated in Kostroma under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials).

The first case was initiated against a 25-year-old local resident, which, as reported, published on his page in the social network "VKontakte" audio clip with a banned song. It's about the song "Smoke" of the far-right group "GROT". She was declared extremist in 2015. by decision of the Sarov City Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (paragraph 3045 of the Federal List of Extremist materials ).

The same song was posted twice on the social network by a 35-year-old Kostroma, who published it in the form of an audio clip and a video recording.

The court found both guilty and fined.
