In September, at the hands of xenophobic vandals, four objects in Moscow, Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions. Just from the beginning last year, we recorded attacks on at least 35 sites in 22 regions of the country.

On September 10, Moscow hosted municipal elections, in which nationalists also took part. Many applications have been submitted, but many of the candidates who declared their intention to be nominated were eliminated at the stage registration. Candidates nominated under support of the Nationalist Party, with the exception of Alexander Gruzinov, which already had the status of a municipal deputy of the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district. However, he lost the election. Were not registered and candidates from the movement "Honor and Freedom" Alexander Samokhin and Pavel Folomkin, although it is possible that they themselves refused the nomination. Was registered, but subsequently withdrawn from the electoral race by a court decision Mikhail Butrimov, one of the leaders of the Rodina party, who has been in office since 2012 municipal deputy of the Veshnyaki district.
Of those admitted to the elections nationalist candidates, no one was able to get the required number of votes, including the leader of the Moscow branch of the Committee "Nation and Freedom" Mikhail Burmistrov (self-nominated), Black Bloc leader Vladimir Ratnikov (Komarnitsky) (nominated from the PARNAS party), leader of the RONA movement Oleg Filatchev (self-nomination) and one of the leaders of the National Democratic Party Nadezhda Shalimov (nominated by the coalition "Moscow and Muscovites").
Subsequently, the nationalists said, that with their support such activists as Konstantin Jankauskas (Party December 5) and Volodymyr Zalishchak (New Opposition). Both candidates have previously collaborated with ultra-right, but they are not nationalists.
In September, we do not know anything about the convictions for xenophobically motivated violence and vandalism. But for xenophobic statements in September 2017 were made at least 20 sentences in 17 regions of the country against 20 people. Among the convicts - the leader banned People's Social Initiative (NSI) Dmitry Bobrov, who received two years in prison under Article 282 of the Criminal Code for publishing on March 21 2016 in the social network "VKontakte" articles "Racial doctrine". For the announcement of the verdict Bobrov did not come, and was put on the wanted list.
Total in 2017 in cases of racist speech at least 151 sentences were handed down against 167 people in 60 regions of the country.
During September, the Federal List of Extremist materials was replenished four times (September 8, 11, 15 and 25), it included included pp. 4203-4225. The list was supplemented by racist leaflets, xenophobic videos and videos calling for jihad posted on the social media networks "VKontakte".
