Jehovah's Witnesses are outraged by the publication of an article by Pavel Yuryev in Obshchaya Gazeta. According to believers, this "material is capable of inciting enmity on the basis of attitudes towards religion."

31 October 2017 it became known that Jehovah's Witnesses Outraged by Publication of Pavel Yuryev's Article "From Heaven to Earth" (General newspaper. 2017. October 23).

They note that in article “ negative or derogatory language is used in regarding Jehovah's Witnesses: "protecting the sect", "working through Jehovah dark deeds", "litter the brains", "take the Witnesses by the gills", "soak in toilet"; disseminated false information about that Jehovah's Witnesses supposedly "have a strict ban on voluntary leaving” from the community, that they “submit not to the president and government, but to their patriarchs”, that believers supposedly “sponsor millions for the needs of the church” or “give the last "that believers are allegedly" instilled - why do you need property, your inheritance - service to God and eternal life”, that “high officials” supposedly “receive a bribe from the Witnesses ."

According to believers, this “ material is capable of inciting enmity on the basis of attitudes towards religion and lead to a flood of violations of the rights of innocent people .”
