Detentions and searches of nationalists

On November 4, 2017, the secretary of the Nationalist Party, Andrei Petrovsky, was detained in Moscow. On the same day, searches were carried out in the apartment of Ivan Beletsky’s relatives, at the registration address of Yuri Gorsky, at the registration address of Denis Romanov-Russky.

On November 4, 2017, in Moscow, employees of the Investigative Committee and the FSB detained the secretary of the nationalist party, Andrei Petrovsky. By evening Petrovsky was released.

On the same day, officers came to search the apartment of the relatives of the co-chairman of the Nationalist Party, Ivan Beletsky. Beletsky himself is hiding abroad. Beletsky's wife was taken to the police station.

The search was carried out at the registration address of the organizer of the “Russian Marches”, nationalist Yuri Gorsky, who left Russia in July 2017 and asked for political asylum in Lithuania.

A search as part of a criminal investigation into the continued activities of the Russian association recognized as extremist was also carried out at the place of registration of the former press secretary of the Nationalist Party Denis Romanov-Russky. During the search, police officers broke down the door to the apartment and tried to climb through the window. This was announced on November 4, 2017 at a rally at the Russian March by activist Alexander Ivanov (introduced as Alexander Ivanov-Lebedev).
