Tatarstan: administrative fine for publishing materials with prohibited symbols on the Internet

In November 2017 in the Tetyushsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan court fines local resident found guilty of posting photos on social media and videos containing prohibited symbols.

In November 2017, in the Tetyushsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, an administrative case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public displaying Nazi symbols).

The case was initiated against a local resident who, according to law enforcement agencies, published on his page on the social network some photographs and videos with Nazi symbols and symbols of illegal armed formations and terrorist organizations.

Unfortunately no details were given.

The court found the Internet user guilty and fined him.
