US President Donald Trump said he wants to improve relations with Moscow, but trusts the conclusions of his intelligence agencies that Russia interfered in the US elections in 2016.
Trump noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is sincere when he declares his non-involvement in interference in the US presidential election.
“I believe he believes that he and Russia did not interfere in the elections. What he believes in is what he believes in,” Trump said, commenting on Putin’s statement that he was not involved in the alleged Russian interference in the elections, RBC reports .
Speaking about his opinion, Trump said that he trusted his intelligence agencies. “I have a lot of faith in our intelligence agencies,” he said.
