A resident of Maloyaroslavets was fined for posting a xenophobic video on the VKontakte social network.

In the Kaluga Region, an 18-year-old resident of Maloyaroslavets was fined 20,000 rubles by a court for posting a xenophobic video on the VKontakte social network.

In November 2017, a verdict was passed in the Kaluga region in a case against a resident of Maloyaroslavets (born 1999). He was found guilty under Article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity).

According to the case file, from October 2015 to February 2017, an underage teenager posted a xenophobic video on his computer.

During the trial, the defendant fully admitted his guilt and repented of his deed.

The court fined him 20,000 rubles.
