Khabarovsk: a verdict was passed in the case under Art. 280

In November 2017 in Khabarovsk to 1.5 years in prison the court conditionally sentenced a 22-year-old local resident, found guilty of publication of xenophobic materials on social networks.

In November 2017, a verdict was pronounced in Khabarovsk in the case on public calls for extremism (Article 280 of the Criminal Code).

In the dock was a 22-year-old local resident, which, according to law enforcement agencies, in November 2016 was published on his page on the social network a certain forbidden video and a number of others xenophobic content.

Details were not disclosed.

The young man was reported to be a supporter far right ideology.

During the trial, the accused admitted his guilt.

The Industrial District Court of Khabarovsk sentenced his 1.5 year suspended sentence with a probationary period of 1.5 years.   Sources
