The Nice prosecutor's office insists on taking Kerimov into custody

The prosecutor's office appealed in court the decision to release Russian senator Suleiman Kerimov on bail, accused of money laundering and tax evasion. This is reported by the newspaper Le Monde .

The prosecutor of Nice wants the measures of judicial control against Kerimov to be "exacerbated, since they do not seem commensurate with the personality and significant income of the senator," the newspaper writes.

A court in France charged a member of the Federation Council of Russia, Suleiman Kerimov, with tax evasion and money laundering and released him on bail of €5 million.
