A colleague of Katerina Tikhonova from the World Rock and Roll Confederation (WRRC) confirmed to Reuters that she is the youngest daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the agency reports on Tuesday, November 28.
The confederation's vice-president for legal affairs, Manfred Mohab, has twice told Reuters that Katerina Tikhonova is Putin's daughter. Mohab knows Tikhonova from her joint work on the presidium of the organization.
The first to reveal the identity of Katerina Tikhonova was the journalist Oleg Kashin in 2015. Reuters information was confirmed by the chairman of the board of Gazprombank Andrey Akimov, but later he retracted his words. Tikhonova manages government-funded projects at Moscow State University.
