OPEC countries have agreed to extend the deal to limit oil production until the end of 2018, Interfax reports .
The OPEC+ meeting is taking place in Vienna to discuss the extension of the deal to reduce oil production after March 2018. Saudi Arabia supports an extension of the OPEC+ deal to cut oil production, Saudi Oil Minister Khalid al-Falih said. The heads of the oil departments of Iran and Iraq also noted that they are in favor of extending the agreement until the end of next year.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that all countries, including non-OPEC members, support the extension of the agreement. Previously , there were fears that Russia still doubted the wisdom of such a measure.
