November 2017 years as a result of racist and neo-Nazi motivated attacks injured at least 2 people in St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl region. Total since the beginning of 2017 from racist violence 4 were killed and 55 were injured. Racist attacks have been recorded in 16 regions of Russia.
We know five acts of vandalism in November 2017 in Moscow, Lipetsk and Sverdlovsk areas. In total, in 2017, we recorded at least 44 acts of ideological motivated vandalism in 25 regions of the country.
Traditionally one of the main public events of the autumn, organized by the far right, was the "Russian march". In Moscow, on National Unity Day, November 4, 2017, took place several nationalist events . 5 November 2017 in Moscow, there were mass arrests in connection with the alleged action movement "Artpodgotovka" Vyacheslav Maltsev. Back in 2013, Maltsev appointed 5 November 2017 on the day of the peaceful revolution: people were called to come out to the central city square (first of all - to Manezhnaya Square in Moscow) and not to leave from there until the leadership of the country retires. Maltsev himself left the country in connection with the excited a criminal case against him, but until November 5 he continued to call everyone to take to the streets. Mass arrests began in mid-October and arrests of alleged members "Artillery preparations" in many cities of the country, and the movement itself was recognized extremist . By according to the OVD-Info website, on November 5, about 300 people were detained in Moscow, and in total across the country - at least 448 people. How many of them are activists of Artpodgotovka or its allied movements, how many of them ended up on the streets because they really were going to take participation in some kind of “revolution”, and how many were driven more by curiosity or were generally detained by accident, we do not know.
On November 26, an "opposition walk" was held in Moscow, where nationalists were present figures of the Party of Nationalists Dmitry Golikov and Konstantin Filin. Walk passed from Triumphalnaya to Manezhnaya Square and gathered about 30 people. After the promotion part activists tried to participate in the All-Russian Civil Forum. By at least they handed out stickers to the participants "Prisoners of conscience, you are not forgotten." On November 27, Filin was able to speak to the participants of the All-Russian human rights convention on human rights, held in the same hotel "Space".
November 2017 we are not aware of any convictions for hate-motivated violence or vandalism.
