The newspaper "Vedomosti" found in the documents of the tender for insurance of military personnel in 2018-2019 data on the losses of military personnel for 2012-2016. These data have not been disclosed by the Ministry of Defense since 2010.
The causes of death are not indicated. But it is known that in 2012 the army lost 630 people, in 2013 - 596, and in 2015 626 troops died.
It is noted that in 2014, during the period of active hostilities in Ukraine, 790 military personnel died, this is the largest figure in recent years.
The numbers indicated in the documents relate to all categories of military personnel. Also, any causes of death are included there: illness, murder, suicide, accidents, accidents, including exercises, combat losses.
The Ministry of Defense has ceased to publish official data on the losses of the Russian army since 2010. In 2008, 471 people amounted to losses, in 2009 and 2010 - 478 and 470 people, respectively.
