The deputy head of the administration of the Volokolamsky district of the Moscow Region Vasily Korotkin demanded that the heads of settlements of the district provide a 70 percent turnout and 70% of the vote in support of the “main” candidate in the presidential election. According to RBC, two chapters of settlements told about this on the terms of anonymity.

“They told me that he made a special emphasis on“ 70 to 70 ”indicators, this was the main topic of the conversation,” one of them said. The second source of the publication added that at a meeting with Korotkin, the creation of election headquarters and candidates of municipal employees controlling the turnout was also discussed.

Earlier, the head of the district administration, Yevgeny Gavrilov, handed out similar instructions to the heads of settlements.

As RBC recalls, in December 2016, the Kremlin held a seminar for vice-governors in domestic politics, which was also discussed about a 70 percent appeal and 70% of the vote for a candidate from the Party of Power in the presidential election.
