On the morning of December 5, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine conduct searches in the Kiev house of Mikhail Saakashvili, reports Interfax.
The searches of the leader of the Rukh of New Forces are associated with a certain criminal proceeding, investigated by the Prosecutor General.
“Indeed, they carry out investigative actions. SBU employees provide operational support within the framework of criminal proceedings invested in the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, ”said the SBU speaker Elena Gitlyanskaya.
Sources of Interfax claim that criminal proceedings are concerned with an official of the previous government of Ukraine.
Earlier, Saakashvili said that the ex-Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko “agreed” on the adoption of the sentences for the accusations next week of the sentence. According to the ex-head of the Odessa regional state administration, they want to blackmail it with extradition. He emphasized that in this case it would be ready to return to Georgia.
