The Central Bank acquired an additional issue of the Otkritie Bank in the amount of 456.2 billion rubles.

The report said that the transition of shares was carried out "as part of the Bank of Russia Participation Plan in the implementation of measures to prevent bankruptcy" of the bank.

In August 2017, the Central Bank announced the reorganization of the Otkritie through the Consolidation Fund of the banking sector. It is assumed that after the completion of the reorganization of the share that has passed to the Central Bank, it will be sold.
