Kandalaksha: two administrative fines under Art. 20.29 and art. 20.3

In December 2017, the city of Kandalaksha, Murmansk region, the court fined a local resident found guilty of posting prohibited images and materials with Nazi symbols.

In December 2017, the city of Kandalaksha, Murmansk region, initiated two administrative cases under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution prohibited materials) and Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public demonstration Nazi symbols).

Cases were initiated against a local resident, R., who, according to according to law enforcement agencies, published some images on the VKontakte social network from the Federal List of Extremist Materials, as well as materials from Nazi symbols.

From the reports of the prosecutor's office it is impossible to understand whether the Nazi symbols in prohibited images or materials with it were posted separately.

The court found R. guilty in both cases and fined him 1000 rubles under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and 1000 rubles under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
