On December 18, 2017, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sent 49-year-old Mikhail Boldenkov to compulsory treatment for distributing leaflets "The last warning to the people of Israel (To avoid the wrath of God, be prudent!)" during the picket.
On December 18, 2017, M. Boldenkov, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow found 49-year-old woodcarver Mikhail Boldenkov guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred). Boldenkov was declared insane and released from criminal liability. Compulsory medical measures were applied to Boldenkov.
Boldenkov was detained in April 2017 when he held a solo picket in front of a McDonald's fast food restaurant with a poster "Heavenly Father will destroy the Satanist Jews," which experts later saw as "signs of incitement to hatred." He also handed out flyers "Last warning to the people of Israel (To avoid the wrath of God, be prudent!)". During the interrogation, Boldenkov gave detailed confessions and said that he studied the Bible and came to the conclusion that it was necessary "to warn the Jewish people about their real and almost complete destruction by the population of the planet Earth" if they did not stop engaging in cabalism.
Previously, he had already been convicted under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred) for a year in prison conditionally. A medical examination showed that the man is addicted to alcohol, but he is aware of his actions and their danger to society. Boldenkov himself did not deny that he fell into many-day binges.
