A protest against the development of parks, including churches, took place in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, a protest action was held against the development of the city's park zone. Opponents of the construction of the temple in the Malinovka park also took part in the event.

January 4, 2018 at Petersburg on Nevsky Prospekt a protest against urban park development. The event was attended about 40 activists, including opponents of the construction of a temple in the Malinovka park.

The protesters unveiled the "Green Manifesto" - a call for citizens to actively protect parks and squares.

A city-wide rally against the destruction of the green areas of St. Petersburg will be held on February 4.

Recall that the residents of St. Petersburg protested against the construction of a temple in the Malinovka park, the city authorities canceled the decision to build. However, in June 2017, the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg made changes to the master plan, allowing the construction of the temple.
