The Ministry of Labor allowed officials not to declare cryptocurrency

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has issued new recommendations on the proposal of information about the income of civil servants for 2017. In particular, cryptocurrencies are first mentioned in them. Izvestia paid attention to the document.

“The reference form does not provide for an indication of goods, services received in kind, as well as virtual currencies,” the recommendations said.

The Ministry of Labor of RBC explained that the income certificate does not include cryptocurrencies, because "at present, approaches to determining and regulating cryptocurrencies in the Russian Federation are not determined at the legislative level."

In November last year, it became known that in the building of the Government of Crimea, two employees of the Council of Ministers mined cryptocurrency. Both were fired.

According to the head of the Committee on Combating Corruption of the Republic of Alexander Akshatin, the attackers managed to earn less than one bitcoin, and they did not manage to cash out the cryptocurrency.
