Zhirinovsky sent for compulsory treatment

In the Vologda region, Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky was sent to compulsory outpatient treatment for videos posted on the VKontakte social network.

In January 2018, the Cherepovets District Court ruled in the case of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a resident of the village of Myaksa (born January 13, 1985), who was charged under Part 1 of Article 282 (inciting ethnic hatred).

According to the case file, on his page on the VKontakte social network, the defendant posted six videos in free access, " which called for armed struggle against people of other nationalities, he also campaigned for Nazism ." The examination recognized all the videos as extremist. Previously, the defendant has already been brought to administrative responsibility for posting such materials.

Due to the insanity of the defendant, the hearings were held behind closed doors.

According to media reports, earlier Vladimir Zhirinovsky's name was Anton Bormusov , " the man officially changed his last name, first name and patronymic ." Bormusov is an assistant to LDPR deputy Andrey Ermakov.

Due to the existing illness, the court released Zhirinovsky from criminal liability, he will have to undergo compulsory outpatient treatment.
