Last year it has become a failure for the Russian stock market. What can you try to make money on this?

In 2018, inflation will return to 4%, the key rate will fall to 6.5–7%, and the ruble rate will be stable, analysts predict. Vedomosti interviewed them what to invest in.

The Moscow exchange index for a year decreased by 5%, the RTS dollar index added only 0.2%. The best papers were: Yandex (+52%), privileged shares of Sberbank (+46%), NLMK (28%).
• A year ago, in some banks from the TOP-50, it was possible to place rubles under 9.5–10% per annum, so the yield of ruble deposits was maximum. The deposits in the euro brought 9.4% of the income, and the dollar deposits deposited at least 2.5% of the invested funds.
• Of the precious metals, only Palladium rose strongly (+56%), the world price of gold increased by 13% to $ 1302, silver - by 6.3% to $ 16.95.
• By the end of 2018, the investment bankers and managers surveyed by Vedomosti wait for 56–60 rubles./$ And 65–70 rubles/euros. The profitability of banking investments for the year is unlikely to exceed 8-10% in ruble equivalent.
• More, perhaps, they will give investments, but in a situation of a decline in the economy it is also not necessary to count on this either. Ruble bonds remain attractive, their prices, due to the reduction in the Central Bank rate, will go up, but the main risk is the likely introduction of US sanctions prohibiting investors to buy Russian public debt.
• The Russian stock market, experts hope, will add 10-20%over the year. There are no original ideas for investment, however, experts advise making a bet on dividend shares (Severstal, Alrosa, Children's World, X5), the oil and gas sector (taking into account the growth of oil prices), banks and all the same Yandex.
• At least a third of the savings, experts of the publication recommend holding in currency, and now they are advised to invest it primarily in the American market. Despite universal fears about possible correction after a violent growth of stormy growth, UBS, for example, has improved its annual forecast at the beginning of the year and now predicts the growth of the S&P500 index by 18%. The Russian shareholders managed to earn on foreign assets last year. The share of the best Pyths - high technology funds - increased by tens of percent over the year.

Everyone worries the question of what to do with money (unless, of course, they are). The world rally in 2017, Russia, unfortunately, has completely missed. For obvious reasons, wealthy fellow citizens began to invest in cryptocurrencies and related projects and, despite the sanctions and signals from the Kremlin, continue to look for happiness in Silicon Valley . In Russia, there are almost nothing left for investors who want to receive more than 20% per annum.

The US administration is preparing to submit to the Kremlin Report Congress - a list of high -ranking Russian officials and businessmen close to the country's top leadership. The report may appear already in January, there will be specific surnames in it or only the criteria of this proximity - it is not clear to the end. But Kommersant, citing its sources in US state bodies, writes that 50 people can be on the black list, and together with members of their families - all 300. The publication does not give names. One of the criteria for getting into this list, as The Bell wrote , may be a generous state support. The defendants in the list risk being under personal American sanctions.

Hackers will work again for the state

The state will allow you to look for vulnerabilities in Russian IT systems with individuals and companies. The prizes will rely on. Such a plan is in the program of the digital economy, which the government approved in December. Until the end of 2020, for monetary prizes and prizes to those who find vulnerabilities in Russian state IT systems, as well as in IT products of vendors, 500 million rubles are withdrawn from the budget and 300 million rubles of extra-budgetary funds.
