The author of the song about Putin became one of the winners of "Grammy"

At the Grammy Awards, the album of the year was called 24k Magic Bruno Mars. The same album won the nomination "Record of the Year".

Bruno Mars received three more Grammy in R&B-Nominations (“Best R&D EXTION”, “Best R&B Pesnya” and “Best R&B album”). The seventh prize went to Mars’s album for the best mastering.

Composer Randy Newman became the winner in the nomination “Best Arrangement” for the satirical song “Putin” about Vladimir Putin.

The prize in the “Debut of the Year” nomination was received by the 21-year-old Canadian performer Aleessia Kara.

In all four rap numbers, Rapper Kendrick Lamar won. The clip for his song “Humble” was recognized as the best music video.

Ed Shiran won two Grammy in pop-cathegors for the composition “Shape of You” and the album “÷ (Divide)”.

The War on Drugs group “A Deeper Understanding” is recognized as the best rock album, and The National Sleep Well Beast has become the best alternative album.

Singer Leonard Cohen and actress Carrie Fisher are posthumously awarded the premiums in the “Best Rock Establishment” and “Best Talking Album” nominations.

The award for the best classical instrumental solo performance was received by the Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov.
