The Novosibirsk Regional Court ordered the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region restore the residence permit for a Catholic priest.
On February 6, 2018, the Novosibirsk Regional Court canceled decision of the district court dated October 16, 2017 on the annulment of the the residence of the Catholic priest Janez Andrew Sever. Regional Court declared the decision to annul the residence permit illegal and ordered the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to restore it.
Recall that US citizen priest Janez Andrew Sever lives in Russia since the early 1990s and heads the Inigo Center for Spiritual Development.
The interests of the priest were represented in court by lawyer Vladimir Ryakhovsky.
