A case was opened in Orenburg for xenophobic materials on social networks

In Orenburg, a case was initiated against a 33-year-old resident of the city for xenophobic materials on the social network.

In February 2018, in the Orenburg region, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred or enmity) against a 33-year-old resident of the city of Orenburg.

According to the investigation, in the period from September to November 2017, the suspect posted xenophobic comments on his page in one of the social networks.

The case was received from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Orenburg region.
