Zelenodolsk: fine under Art. 20.29 Code of Administrative Offenses

In February 2018, in the city of Zelenodolsk, a court fined local resident T. Yusupov 2,000 rubles for publishing banned videos.

On February 13, 2018, the Zelenodolsk City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan considered an administrative case under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials).

The case was initiated against local resident T. Yusupov, who, according to law enforcement agencies, posted several banned racist videos on the VKontakte social network. During the trial, Yusupov pleaded guilty and declared remorse.

The court fined him 2,000 rubles.

In January 2019, the same court arrested Yusupov for 5 days , finding him guilty under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda of Nazi symbols), and in March 2019 - for 7 days , this time condemning under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (inciting hatred).   Sources
