Police officers returned the policy to Alexei Navalny's telephone and SIM card, which disappeared from the materials of the administrative case, Interfax reports with reference to the lawyer Olga Mikhailov.
“Our petition was unexpectedly satisfied, the phone was suddenly found and they returned it to us,” she said.
On the eve of the Tver, the Moscow court returned the case file on an administrative offense to the police, which were drawn up against Navalny, detained during the action on January 28.
“In the protocol, a cell phone and SIM card are declared as material evidence. In fact, in the case of these material evidence, there was not where they are unknown, in connection with this the material was returned, ”Mikhailova explained.
Navalny himself wrote about the loss of the phone in his blog. “We went to court, and there it turned out amazing: documents about my detention were received from the police. They indicate “Navalny’s telephone and SIM card” were taken from Navalny as a material evidence. But where they are incomprehensible. There is no business in the materials, ”the politician wrote. He also noted that he still does not even have a protocol on an administrative offense that would justify his detention.
According to Navalny, he wrote a statement about theft of the phone to the police. “That is, the court established me that my beautiful iPhone 7 was simply stolen somewhere. There are no documents, there is no protocol, there is no court, there is no phone in the materials. What is this? Well, they put the phone really, ”the politician noted.
