Residents of Izhevsk protest against the construction of an Orthodox church in Cosmonauts Park

In Izhevsk, representatives of the Gradsovet public organization are protesting against the construction of an Orthodox church in Cosmonauts Park.

February 14, 2018 at Izhevsk representatives of the public organizations "Gradsovet" made two appeals with a protest against the construction of an Orthodox temple in the park of Cosmonauts.

One letter - with the demand to find an alternative place for the construction of the temple - will sent to the diocese, another - with a request to take into account the opinion of the protesters when the solution of this issue - to the city administration.

In their In letters, the activists of the "Gradsoveta" remind that in recreational areas any construction is prohibited.
