It is completely impossible to discuss the speech of Vladimir Putin in the Manege on March 1, 2018 in the categories of the “traditional Epistle to the Federal Assembly” or the “election performance”. Neither on the vote on March 18, nor even to the Federal Assembly, this performance is not directly related. Of course, there is some kind of economic part there, but it is doubtful that after the revolution of the missiles the final fragment of the performance about it will be remembered at all outside the narrow circle of meticulous specialists. It seems that Putin was persuaded to read a little about the economy, but he, first of all, wanted to say about his own and, having finished the economy and other little things, did not restrain himself.

What is the economy when it comes to global confrontation? What elections, if there is a serious conversation with the West, where the thought dropped in 2004 is confirmed in 2018? How, against the background of such a scale, to talk about the presidential terms and replacement?

Obviously, Putin has long moved to another dimension, where he is not a high -ranking official, not constrained by the Constitution, the temporary chapter of one of the Earth states, but a great man whose mission is to regulate the world order in accordance with his ideas about what he should be. And if someone does not agree with his ideas, then this is not because the ideas are wrong, but because only that the interlocutor is not the same scale. Well, nowhere to hurry, you can wait another 10 years and then, coughing, recall: and I said!

Putin's performance leaves a terrible, discouraging impression. Even in the most gloomy days of the past Cold War, such a mix of a bad action movie and the Plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU could not even imagine. The coughing elderly man in the rostrum speaks of the war, shows poorly made cartoons about some kind of miracle-armed, and the full hall of middle-aged and most of the ugly men and women rejoice in this triumph of militarism as if they were informed of victory over death and pain. And it is not known what is actually worse-this man on the rostrum, his words or these are incomprehensible people sitting in the hall, who are for some reason joyful.

There are so many problems in the country, even the unfortunate "May decrees" did not really fulfill - but no one is interested in this. But the news about the fact that during this time some hypersonic flaps were glued, which no one supposedly had to anyone in the whole world, immediately illuminates the joy of the faces of the clergy of all religions, deputies, ministers, and governors. It is joyful for them that crazy billions were spent in order to show you do not understand who is all the same Khrushchev’s “Kuzkin Mother”. Then they will be separated, inspired, in their off -road regions with empty budgets and all questions of the packed, poor and deprived of elementary amenities of people will answer: but we have weapons, which no one else has! But we showed them! But proved! Do not put it!

If Putin’s speech was some kind of pre-election meaning-then only this: to supply the bankrupt administrative apparatus with the only, but the most slaughter answer to all questions-yes, in the practical sense we have nothing to brag about, many poor, few prospects, but somewhere in secret plants at that time, bathyscapes are being built and the devil knows what else! For the sake of this, one must endure, tighten the belts and not ask the authorities of stupid questions about money, yachts, villas, cocaine and an insatiable relatives that have been dawn in all bread positions.

The meaning of Putin's complaints that he is not listened to is twofold. By itself, the fact that “we are talking about, but no one listens to us,” can hardly be attributed to achievements, and then the speaker would think: maybe we are saying something wrong? Or are we talking somehow wrong?
