The Ministry of Health warned of the threat of disruption of the supply of painkillers due to the actions of the Russian Guard

Due to the fact that the Russian Guard banned the FSUE “The Main Center for Special Communications” to transport narcotic and psychotropic drugs, the regions can be left without painkillers. The department prepared amendments to circumvent this ban, the document was placed on the portal of regulatory legal acts.

Painkillers need patients with oncological diseases, with the terminal stage of HIV experiencing unbearable pains as a result of injuries, after accidents or in the postoperative period. Their main carrier until the fall of 2017 was “special communications”, which should protect such medicines either in the presence of a license for security, or the forces of the Russian Guard or other security departments. However, the Russian Guard forbade the "special communications" to transport medicines independently due to the lack of a license for security activities. It cannot receive its enterprise, since the license is issued only by limited liability companies.

Now the "special communications" partially suspended deliveries to the regions. Where this did not happen, the cost of supplies increased sharply, because the company is forced to attract external security. This happened after the “special communications” in search of a compromise entered into an agreement on guard with Rosguard itself. In some goods and directions, the cost of delivery increased by 500%. The delivery time has also increased, since it is necessary to apply for escort to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Security” of the Russian Guard by three days before the departure. In most regions, no one can replace the “special communications”, since commercial carriers either do not have a license to the circulation of painkillers or supply them to a limited number of regions. The suspension of the supply of painkillers can lead to a breakdown of their distribution over Russian hospitals and pharmacies.
