The Kalininsky District Court of St. Petersburg extended the arrest of Alla Bespalova , the wife of Isa Ragimov, who is suspected of collaborating with Hizb ut-Tahrir.
On March 14, 2018, it became known that Kalininsky the district court of St. Petersburg extended the deadline until May 16 arrest of Alla Bespalova, wife of Isa Ragimov, convicted in 2016 year in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case and sentenced to 12 years in prison. On May 14, 2018, Bespalova's arrest was extended for another two months, until July 16.
A. Bespalova was detained in St. Petersburg in November 2017.
By According to investigators, she heads the "regional women's cell of Hizb ut-Tahrir." A criminal case was initiated against the arrested woman under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 CC (organization of the activities of a terrorist organization).
Recall we believe that accusing members of Hizb ut-Tahrir of promoting terrorism only on the basis of party activities (holding meetings, reading literature, etc.) and prosecuting them under anti-terrorist articles illegally.
