Searches of a Volya party supporter from Mtsensk

In the Oryol region, a supporter of the Volya party from Mtsensk was searched.

On March 14, 2018, in Mtsensk, Oryol region, searches were carried out at the place of residence of one of the supporters of the Volya party. During the course, several copies of books by Svetlana Peunova and a leaflet "Appeal to the Russian Army Servicemen" were seized, which was recognized as extremist by the decision of the Leninsky District Court of Ulyanovsk in September 2015 (paragraph 3124 of the Federal List of Extremist Materials ).

In August 2016, the Volya party of Svetlana Peunova was liquidated following a lawsuit filed by the Ministry of Justice for distributing extremist materials. The Ministry of Justice asked Volia to be recognized as an extremist organization on the grounds that it distributed prohibited materials such as leaflets "We don't trust this government!" and actually "Appeal to the servicemen of the Russian army".
