Another search in the Church of Scientology in St. Petersburg

The premises of the Church of Scientology in St. Petersburg underwent another search in the case of illegal business and extremism.  

On March 28, 2018, FSB officers searched the premises Petersburg Church of Scientology.

The search was carried out as part of the Art. 171 (illegal business), Art. 282 (inciting hatred) and Art. 282.1 (organization of an extremist community) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and was directed “to detection of additional items and documents confirming the criminal the nature of the activities of the said religious group”.

As a reminder, the leaders of the Church of Scientology were arrested on court decision.

We consider persecution of Scientologists to be extremism illegal.
