Shchuchye: the investigation into the case against the xenophobic graffiti artist has been completed

In March 2018, a case against a 17-year-old teenager accused of applying xenophobic graffiti on the walls of houses and posting xenophobic materials on a social network was brought to court in the Kurgan region. In March 2018, in the city of Shchuchye, Kurgan Region, the investigation of the case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred) and part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism).
In the dock will be a 17-year-old local resident who, according to law enforcement agencies, from June 2016 to September 2017 published xenophobic videos, audio recordings and photographs on his social network page directed against Jews, people from the Caucasus and blacks.

In addition, according to the case file, on November 3 and 4, a young man, using a spray can, wrote on the facades of several houses some xenophobic slogans directed against people from the Caucasus and Central Asia. The inscriptions were reported to be offensive and contain profanity.
