The head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, the vice speaker Sergey Neverov did not support the idea of ​​nomination of the ex-governor of the Kemerovo region Aman Tuleyev to the post of speaker of the regional parliament.

“I think this is wrong, and I think people simply will not understand such a decision,” Neverov said.

Earlier, the State Duma deputies from the Kemerovo region sent an appeal to the acting governor of the region Sergey Tsivilev with a request to support the nomination of Tuleyev to the post of head of the regional parliament.

“We, deputies of the State Duma from the Kemerovo region, ask you to support the nomination of Aman Gumirovich Tuleyev to the post of chairman of the Council of People's Deputies of the Kemerovo region. We are confident that his many years of experience, including the legislative branch, the universally recognized authority of the wise policy, thorough knowledge of the characteristics of the region, the ability to make non -standard competent decisions in difficult situations, will also be useful to our region, ”the appeal said.

Recall that Tuleyev filed a petition for a resignation from the governor’s post after a fire in the shopping center “Winter Cherry” in Kemerovo, who took the lives of 64 people, including 41 children.
