
Protesters in Yerevan blocked Arshakunitsa Avenue, connecting the south of the capital of Armenia with the center.
Some drivers stopped their cars in the middle of the road, creating a kilometer traffic jam. The cars were evacuated to the penalty platforms, some along with the drivers. Several motorists were taken to the police department.

Earlier it was reported that the police detained 166 supporters of the opposition overlapping the roads. Later, the police press service specified this figure: according to the press secretary Ashot Agarnyan, we are talking about 183 detainees.
